“Your store brings back memories of my childhood. I was born in 1929, in Algiers, a quaint section of New Orleans. I saw cash registers like yours in a few of the stores in Algiers. I can still hear the loud bang of them opening. We had one variety store where we could buy anything. I remember buying licorice sticks and some stamps that I could lick and then transfer the images onto my arms. Your place reminds me of that little store.”
